John Kerry’s success could be good for Mullahs
For Mullahs, obtaining the nuclear weapon is one of the very urgent things to do and the evidences suggest that they are very close to their goal too. They are continuing their attempts despite of all international condemnation and pressure. Nothing would stop them. They are very optimistic that they would get rid of Bush administration’s pressure very soon. It would really happen if John Kerry becomes the next president of US.
In case of victory, and beside all internal matters that need to be challenged, Kerry will have lots of international dilemmas, which have to be solved or corrected. One of his priorities would be the invasion of Iraq and he will have to deal with a big mess. He was one of the critics of the war in Iraq therefore he would have to react immediately and pull American forces out of Iraq. He does not believe in “axis of evil” theory, generated by Bush and unlike him, he would not take any serious step in order to topple or threaten the regimes, considered as “axis of evil”.
The Mullahs only need little bit more time and new policy of US would create that for them.
